Accessibility of online content requires that all non-textual content is provided with textual equivalents (alternative description, alt text). This means that the information in the figures and tables included in the publication must also be presented as plain text. The authors are responsible for producing these alternative texts but the publishing services will assist as needed.

The publications of JYU Reports are openly available in JYX archive. Each publication receives the relevant permanent identifiers (ISBN, URN, DOI). The Open Science Centre stores publications produced in JYU to Converis research information system. Information about the publication in Converis can also be automatically transferred to the authors´ ORCID profiles. Authors are also encouraged to include their ORCID identifiers in the publication.
